History
First launched in France in 1989, Mahalo sailed the Atlantic and to her first owner living in Maryland on the U.S east coast. He lightly sailed her until 1998. Her 2nd owners, from 1998-2011, took her up and down the U.S. coast, to the Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean and in 2002 sailed her across the Atlantic, where she spent the next 6 years in the Mediterranean and was expertly refit in Italy in 2008. As the owner couple was now in their mid-seventies, they decided to ship Mahalo back to Florida in 2009 and swallow the anchor. Her 3rd owners purchased her in 2011 and had sailed her seasonally since then in the U.S., Bahamas, and Eastern Caribbean. Her current owners have had her since 2016 and have kept her on their private dock in season and have her hauled in the summer for maintenance and storage. Due to health reasons, they sadly have to part with her.
