Introducing this 2002 Island Packet 380, a dependable cruising sailboat ideal for both extended voyages and shorter trips. Renowned for its quality construction and comfortable design, this vessel offers a great sailing experience.

The standing rigging was updated in March 2017, and the running rigging was replaced in 2021, ensuring smooth and reliable sail handling. The windlass was serviced in March 2023, and the bow thruster received servicing in April 2023, adding to the vessel's reliability. Additionally, a Sta-lok emergency rigging repair kit is included for peace of mind.

The hull features a copper coating applied in 2012, which helps reduce maintenance and enhance performance. A manual emergency bilge pump is on board, providing an extra layer of safety. The engine has approximately 2460 hours of operation, reflecting its well-maintained condition.

This Island Packet 380 comes with various engine spares and spare anodes, ensuring you're well-prepared for maintenance needs. A handheld VHF radio is included for reliable communication with marinas and other vessels. The boat is also equipped with a new (2024) 3D 200cm tender and a new 2022 Rutland wind generator, enhancing your cruising experience. The Hydrovane installed in 2021 offers excellent self-steering capabilities, perfect for long passages, and comes with a spare kit. Additionally, the new Tek-Dek deck, installed in 2021, provides the look of teak with the low maintenance of plastic.

The boat's holding tank was replaced with a plastic one in 2021, ensuring durability and ease of maintenance. There are two small solar panels onboard for supplementary power. Communication is enhanced with a Sat phone and antenna at the top of the mast. The propeller is a feathering type with a rope cutter, and a fixed blade spare is included.

For safety, the vessel is equipped with a Danbuoy, horseshoe buoy, and recovery sling as man overboard equipment. A sail repair kit from the sail manufacturer and a Bluetooth radio fitted in 2023 are also included. Four Ocean Safety lifejackets (two from 2021 and two from 2022) with MOB1 and 3-point tethers provide peace of mind. Spare replacement water filters and all necessary water purification treatments are onboard.

She is a very capable vessel, easy to sail short handed, but with sufficient room to entertain guests. Additionally, Baybreeze has ample storage for a liveaboard lifestyle.
