MAHALA ( Xhosa and Zulu for Free)
Not to be confused with the previous Out Island series, the 'CLASSIC' is indeed the newer Catalina version with a modified keel , skeg hung rudder and simplified sail plan enables better performance and easy handling by one or two.
When Charlie Morgan designed the Classic 41, he created the perfect cruising vessel. Sought after for its stability and spacious accommodations, the Morgan Classic 41 has proven to be one of the most popular sailing vessels over 40’ ever built. It is simply an ideal classic cruising yacht
SELLER'S COMMENTS
Mahala is very well equipped for living aboard off the grid with a large battery and solar bank that provides sufficient free energy to live comfortably on the hook in the anchorage of your choice.
Mahala's a great choice as a family cruiser due to her stable and comfortable motion at sea with a comfort rating of 29.7, similar to some of the more expensive cruising boats on the market. She's easy to handle and is a pleasure to sail even when doing 8 knots in 30knots of wind.
She boasts a teak interior with solid brass hardware and fixtures that have stood the test of time.
